Dr Géza Pálfi

Energy storage and -network innovation expert, NKM National Utilities Ltd.

 

Dr Géza Pálfi is the lead professional and lecturer in the forecast of energy storage and -network innovation in Hungary. He has been dealing with energy for 14 years in legal, commercial and scientific terms. He is currently supervising NKM National Utilities’ energy storage and network development projects.

He joined one of the first free-market energy companies in the early 2000s. Combining his legal expertise and commercial experience, he dealt with electric energy and gas trading for many years before he entered the field of innovation. Among others, he has participated in the establishment of the electricity business of MOL Energy Trade Ltd.
Pioneering initiatives such as the active role in creation of Virtual Power Plants at Dalkia Ltd.or the construction of the first industrial scale energy storage in Hungary bear his name. He is an ardent advocate of energy storage as “the everyday technology of the future” in both the industrial and the private sector.
