Bertalan Zsolt

Zsolt is the technological innovation leader of MVM-NKM Group since 2015. He has played a key role in organizing the innovation-related activities of the company and making them more productive. In this capacity, he participated in setting up the innovation organization of MVM Group and the launch of EDISON program.

He earned his electricity industry experience at MAVIR between 2002 and 2013, where he eventually led the implementation of the smart TSO strategy as Chief Executive Officer. In the next two years, he was the CEO of the Hungarian electricity market HUPX, the power exchange. At this time, the 4M MC market coupling between the intraday market and the day-ahead markets of the four countries was successfully executed.

Since 2012, he is the President of the Smart Future Innovation Cluster. The aim of the Cluster is to promote smart measurements and smart networking solutions in Hungary.

Zsolt is a certified electrical engineer, an economist and MBA. He obtained his degrees from the Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics and Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences as well as the College of Finance and Accounting. At present, he studies business innovation and entrepreneurship management at Stanford GSB.
