Consultant and member of the board of directors at Energen Power Hungary Zrt., Attila Csontos is an expert in modern energy storage.

After finishing his Master’s and PhD. in Engineering Physics, he became a university lecturer himself. He gained his first strategic experience at Accenture, where he helped both domestic and foreign companies succeed. Meanwhile, he acquired newer, mainly business related qualifications in Illinois and Paris, and then held leading positions at Telekom and Vodafone. From there he moved to the energy sector, where he has been a manager for over 5 years. He was project leader of the acquisition of the Tisza II. Power Plant and participated in creating the first domestic industrial scale lithium ion energy storage system. Currently, he focuses on developing the commercialization of this system.

He is a regular lecturer and author at KPMG-BME Academy and Harvard Business Review, discussing future visions of energetics.
