György Kóbor has decades of industry experience and leadership competencies.

From 2000 to 2010, he worked for E.ON Hungary Ltd., for 8 years as Managing Director of E.ON Energiakereskedő (Energy Trade) Ltd., between 2009 and 2010 he was deputy CEO for energy procurement and energy sales. Between 2010 and 2012 he was Chief Financial Officer of MVM Hungarian Electricity Ltd. Between 2012 and 2013 he was CEO of MET Power Hungary. In 2013 he returned to MVM as Chief Financial Officer until he became Chairman and CEO of NKM National Utilities Ltd. in October.
